Mosquito Control & Yard Protection

Summers in Saskatoon are meant to be enjoyed outdoors, but swarms of aggressive mosquitoes often turn backyard barbecues and patio evenings into an ordeal. Because Saskatoon sits in the South Saskatchewan River basin surrounded by agricultural drainage sloughs and parklands, mosquito populations surge rapidly following spring snowmelt and early summer rains.

K2 Pest Control offers the premier mosquito yard barrier program in Saskatoon. Our certified technicians utilize commercial backpack mist-blowers to apply botanical and micro-encapsulated barrier sprays to the undersides of dense foliage, shrubs, tall grass, and shaded deck overhangs where adult mosquitoes rest during the heat of the day. Combined with eco-friendly BTI larvicide briquettes in non-draining standing water, our treatments reduce yard mosquito activity by over 90% for weeks at a time.
